Hiking Up Shiratoriyama

Sponsored Links
Last year around this time, my Thai friends and I decided to hike Shiratoriyama or Mt. Shiratori (meaning white bird in English) in Shizuoka Prefecture. We chose this mountain because it is the shortest and easiest to hike up to among all mountains around this area. It is around 500m tall and the whole hike (ascent and descent) took us around three hours only. Although this mountain is not the most popular of all Shizuoka mountains, the view of the Southern Alps including Mt. Fuji from the peak is amazing. This mountain is perfect for beginners like us :D
